Pecan Cheese Appetizers

2 cups shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 c. pecans, chopped

1/3 c. ketchup

3 T. lowfat mayonaisse

3 T. finely chopped celery

3 T. finely chopped onion

32 pita triangles (2 pita pockets divided into 8 wedges, split each wedge into 2 triangles)

Combine  cheese and next five ingredients.  Spread mixture on pita triangles on baking sheets.  Broil, fairly close to heat source, until cheese has melted (usually just about 2 minutes or so).
